Leche Flan-ning
There are just things you want to do right when you wake up.
I woke up today and felt like making leche flan.
I had not much eggs and condensed milk to produce it. Good thing I am already near stores and supermarkets to get whatever I need unlike in the village where we came that not even a 7-11 is around.
Ingredients:
12 whole eggs
1 can of condensed milk
1/2 cup milk
How to make it:
1. Separate the whole eggs from their whites. I used an egg separator to do it.
2. Pour on the condensed milk. Beat the mixture.
3. Add 1/2 cup of fresh milk.
4. On a pan, caramelise 5-6 tablespoons of sugar. Be careful not to burn the sugar.
5. Steam for about 20-30 minutes. Check the flan with a toothpick from time to time.
Voila! You have yourself a flan! :)
