This time, it wasn't my choice to have pasta for dinner. It was Vin's idea and I couldn't agree more.

Immediately, I searched inside the fridge for ingredients and found among the sausages, ham, soup bones, ground beef were a can of mushrooms and frozen peeled prawns and what I could make of them hit me right away...seafood marinara.

Ingredients:
1 can of tomato sauce
Peeled prawns
1 can of tuna
1 can of sliced mushrooms
2 big tomatoes, sliced
1 onion, diced
4 cloves of garlic, minced
grated Quickmelt cheese
500g noodles of your choice
salt, pepper, rosemary to taste

Procedure:
  1. In a saucepan, heat oil or butter. Add the garlic and onion. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until the onion caramelises.
  2. If you have white wine, add a bit. After the onions, add the tomatoes and the paste. Crush the tomatoes with the spoon. Simmer for 10 minutes. You may add some water until you reach the consistency you prefer. Season to taste.
  3. On a separate pan, sauté the shrimps and tuna. You may add scallops, mussels, crab meat, squid, clams, etc.
  4. In boiling water, cook the pasta until al dente.
  5. Add the seafood on the sauce. Serve while hot.
