Today's Special: Bratwurst & Mushroom Carbonara
Ingredients:
Bratwurst & Mushroom Carbonara
250g pasta
250 ml Nestle all-purpose cream
1/4 cup of milk
1/2 cup water
200g diced ham
1 bratwurst, sliced
a can of mushrooms, sliced
1 red onion, diced
5 cloves of garlic, minced
salt and pepper to taste
3 tbsps. fish sauce
Cooking procedure:
1. On a buttered/oiled pan, saute garlic and onions.

2. Add the mushrooms.
3. At this point, I added fish sauce to saute with the mushrooms. You may just use salt here but as for my preference, I just find "patis" easier to measure and cook with.
4. When the mushrooms have almost cooked, add the sliced sausages.
5. After the sausages have browned, add the ham.
6. Cook together for a few minutes.
7. Add the cream and milk.
8. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
You may add water from time to time depending on the consistency you prefer.
Breaded Chicken Wings
chicken wings
4 cloves of garlic, minced
bread crumbs
salt and pepper
1 egg, beaten
Cooking Procedure:
1. Prepare the bread crumbs with minced garlic, salt and pepper.
2. Boil the chicken wings, sprinkled with salt and pepper.
3. After they've been boiled, dip each wing onto the egg and coat with the crumbs.
4. Deep fry the wings.
Voila! My creamy experiment of bratwurst and mushroom carbonara.
